    'The Greatest'

Don't know of anyone who was fearful of Cassius Clay.

Even 'little pudgy' Spaniard - Alfredo Evangelista laughed at Cassius.

"He no great ever. All he has is 'talk, talk, talk', and make jokes. He's like a Carnival Clown.

"Me think he's Big Funny Man, that acts like a Child."

Swamp Donkey sounds like a genital condition linked to bad hygiene. Kinda like trench foot of the truncheon.

Years ago, nicknames were often assigned by newspapermen. Chris Byrd's father, whom was a prizefighter himself, was given the moniker, Joe "Toy Block" Byrd. The reason? Because to that writer's eye his head resembled a toy block...

Chuck Wepner was one tough hombre from Bayonne, New Jersey, but.............

    "The Bayonne Bleeder"??

Here's one nickname that should've been given by the fans after a certain fight against Mike Tyson:

    Bruce "Louganis" Seldon
