There was no real good reason for Quillen to vacate the title. It has just meant he has been inactive, sitting on the side lines, training but not getting paid and having to justify it in interviews for no good reason.

It would have been because of the NBC and Haymon not wanting Quillen to fight on another tv station or work with roc nation

Quillan turned that fight down to spend time with his family.

Had nothing to do with Haymon.

This is 100% fabricated. It had everything to do with Haymon.

Quillan wanted to spend time with his wife and new baby....just like Maidana after he beat Broner.

I don't buy that at all, but it's besides the point. He's fighting Lee this weekend and that's what matters.
