Kovalev withdraws from Friday's purse bid

I can't believe that Kovalev is running scared, but you never know. I reckon it is down to Kovalev getting shafted on the money side of things, whether from his own team or Adonis's I don't know. I read somewhere that until just over 12 months ago he was earning $5k a fight and he got something silly like $100k for either the BHop fight or the one before, which is amazing really. he's probably pissed off with getting the piss taken out of him financially.

Ya, kovalev really got shafted in the bhop fight with his purse. He should be making bank now considering he is almost unanimously considered the best LHW and is exciting and had tons of KO's. I think that he is getting taken advantage of by his promotor.
