Here's the deal marijuana isn't as harmful as advertised plain as that. Alcohol is MORE harmful than advertised. Tobacco can't really even be advertised but it's very dangerous for you.

Is marijuana a "panacea" will it cure everything? No and nobody is saying it is. General pain yeah it'll help. Insomnia? It'll help. Chronic pain from IBS, Crohn's, MS, fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis? It'll help.

Compare the side effects of pot to those of pharmaceuticals and what do you have? Pot MIGHT make you hungry, depending on the strain you could get talkative, you could get sleepy, and that's about it. Meanwhile with these pharmaceuticals you can have any number of side effects.

So it's better for you recreationally AND medicinally
