Not popular like Floyd or Manny in the US but hugely popular in Europe and Russia. If he fought more in the US his ratings would be much better, not that I really give a squat about ratings.
Don't forget that boxing is a worldwide sport and isn't centered in the US. Wait till it takes off in China, those will he exciting days for boxing fans. Agreed? Lol I'm going to have fun pissing you off!

First off, what does you statement about sucking and knees have to do with boxing?
The center of boxing is where the most interest or the biggest fight is. It could be Canada, Germany, the UK, Manilla, China or the US. Right now it's US because of the Mayweather fight.
Sir, I know what I like and want to watch. I don't care about ratings and I don't check them.
China is going to be huge, billions of fans, love their athletes, and have money to spend. PPV heaven.
We'll be fine. The amour plated cockroach of sports that is boxing will once again carry on, may even flourish with the new found everyman exposure with the networks now. Again. No one or two men "make" boxing. Especially when one operates on the exclusive 25k for a mouth piece level and the other took his trunk of trinkets to his homeland pulling millions when beating up guys with names most Americans have to look at three times just to spell correctly. I honestly wouldn't fear or concern over two leaving so much as who we're missing and yet to see break onto the scene. With May 2nd around the corner, look at the contrast of the two super stars and its the best of both worlds. Mayweather was primed and groomed for stardom from day one. The package..charisma, pedigree and showmanship but unlike some clowns who try...and are allowed...to take short cuts today he had substance and can fight a lil. I can't stand the fucker...but you cannot knock his run if for anything its longevity and his boxing brain. On the other side Manny was one we didn't really see coming, at least I didn't. One minute I'm watching hbo and the next this raging kid with the funny haircut and the name I had to look at 3 times is absolutely destroying an established champ on De La Hoyas undercard, rest is history. Trying to predict any form of this erratic self abusing but spectacularly awesome sport will drive you to a padded cell if you let it. Best just to enjoy the ride.
