An Ortiz rematch would be nice
Yes, I remain an Ortiz fan although I have no idea what the hell he'll do from one moment to the next.

It takes a big man to admit he's an Ortiz fan his fights are always entertaining if he can beat Berto he could be in line for one of Haymon's A-siders

For sure, he'll probably be lined up for one last beat down. Athletic guy with a tonne of heart, but he never had the skills. He could be a test for someone moving up from 140, thinking Matthyse, Provo, Garcia, Crawford, Peterson, but I'd pick every single one of those guys over him. At 147 who can he beat? I bet Zab Judah could still whip him lol.

How I see it: official gatekeeping status.

It's a shame, Berto has all the physical gifts you can ask for, but he just couldn't put it together. Hopefully Virgil tightens up his game because he was a fantastic talent and real fun to watch.

Oh yeh, once the frame is bent a spray paint job and new tires is futile. Honestly he looked shot fight before Lopez. I think Haymon had a win win match where no matter the winner, both Lopez and Berto could push into a sellable opponent roll with fan friendly styles. No idea who he faces There was mention of Thurman. Nice knowing ya Berto. Can't knock the kid for big balls though, he's proving that many times regardless of glaring flaws never fixed.
