I thought Pac won 4 rounds. If it was a draw Floyd would have been hard done by - he won the fight.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Yeah I had him winning 4, 6, 7 & 8.
I watched it at a Rileys sports bar in Harlow and I was amazed at how many people were trying to argue/ justify their case for manny winning. Mostly based around Floyd running.
Scary really. I think Smash is right, casual fans just can't tolerate this style of boxing.

It was just the tremendous excitement that was promised the casual fans that really wasn't good for boxing in general. I feel for them. They paid top dollar for a fireworks display. They feel duped and I don't blame them. I really think I got my money's worth watching PPV and I am now excited for Floyd's future specially with him being near that mythical 50 - 0 record. And I guess it's for promotion purposes to cash in on the billed fight of the century for both fighters and their camps/promoters etc to hype it up as much as they did. I was also expecting something more exciting but I don't blame it on any one fighter since we all know Manny struggles against good counter punchers and defensive boxers and we know Floyd is one of the best if not the best defensive fighters out there. We all know this was going to happen but gotta feel sorry for the casual fans who bought into it expecting it to be something else. Honestly I felt this was a blow to boxing just because of the disappointment that casual fans felt. And let's face it there were a lot more of them than boxing fans who watched the fight.
They can't mate, loads and loads of my mates who are into boxing but not like us lot were seriously pissed off and my facebook newsfeed has just been full of people slagging off boxing, saying it's a joke sport etc
You can see their point after all the hype.
Fact is people still wanna see some serious violence and that includes me.
How many serious fight fans hand on heart can say they would prefer to watch what happened on Saturday over an out and out tear up like Ward v Gatti
I know which i'd prefer.
That fight did boxing more damage than it did good![]()
If people are going to pay $100 for a fight that's billed as the biggest in history, a grudge match 5 years in the making, they're going to want to see an intriguing fight. Mayweather/Pac was not an intriguing fight, and yeah it did a lot of damage to boxing I think.
I wish all these people would have saw Provodnikov/Matthysse or Canelo's fight next week instead.
