The sad/good thing is Ed is actually regarded by those that know as being considerably smarter than David. Ed's policies are far more for the people the David's would have been.
But Ed cannot eat a bacon sandwich properly.

Fuck fair taxes, spending on services and a credible plan for the NHS, if you can't eat a bacon sandwich properly you can fuck off!

Sure, Miliband doesn't seem like a bad bloke, but it shouldn't be about the lesser of evils. How can you take Labour seriously when they still have Tony Blair in the party? He should be in the Hague, let alone still a member of the Labour Party. Galloway was booted for far less than carrying out war crimes. For me it's the same old establishment politics and the SNP HAVE to be part of the deal. I think the media is appalling the way they are demonising Scotland. A year ago they were threatening Scotland and then begging them to stay with all kinds of empty promises and now suddenly the Scots are dangerous? Two faced evil media run by non-taxing paying billionaires. Westmonster is dangerous. Fracking, wars, banking fraud, debt, austerity.

You would have to be evil to vote Tory and you must have amnesia to vote Labour. Miliband should be talking about bringing back clause 4 and nationalisation and instead it's 'I will freeze your bills for a bit'. It's good cop, bad cop and this cop isn't a whole lot better. People deserve so much more considering they did not cause the recession. I am sorry for ranting, but the topic upsets me.
Of course I'd like to see Labour go further and be a true Labour party. But they need to be electable.
IF he gets in I think Ed will do what he can over time, if he has some stability, to get closer to Labour roots. He is not, and never was, A Blairite.

I also fully agree with your thoughts on the demonisation of the SNP. It is an utter joke and making me quite angry. Fucking snake Murdoch.

Ed will not win and islamaphobia is a right wing dick bombing mosques, stabbing an elderly Muslim in the street and spreading hateful propaganda to stir up trouble within communities.

Now I think it's VITAL to our conversation for you to know that IN NO WAY am I suggesting we take Chowderhead's (or Andy, whichever he doesn't prefer I use) tactics and turn them on all Muslims....by NO MEANS am I suggesting that.

What I AM saying is that Christians are both revered and reviled but it is socially EXPECTED of them that they react like adults regardless of what vitriol heartless people might spew at them....Muslims on the other hand are starting to be treated in the same manner as African-Americans in that it's the soft bigotry of low expectations again. The people who wish to "outlaw Islamaphobia" are saying that the Muslims A) are constantly attacked and B ) they cannot #1. Handle such attacks and 2. we cannot hold them accountable for their actions after such an attack......I think that's A) selling short ADULT Muslims and B ) creating a system where Chowderhead can reach and poison more minds.

So, Muslims LIKE Christians need to learn to take it on the chin and have what? FAITH that the words of humans will not hurt them or their religious beliefs. If your faith is strong, then you do not make mountains out of molehills. I certainly do not wish for Muslims to become a victim class, I certainly wish African-Americans had not so willingly become a victim class because now they are at the mercy of 1 party as that party has classified them as victims and anyone not willing to be a victim is ostracized and unprotected....it hasn't worked well for anyone but the politicians.

I respectfully disagree, whereas you see protecting babies I see protecting them from extreme ignorant bigots who cause harm.

    Allow me to retort

Submerging a Crucifix in urine = "It's art and even if it isn't art per say it's free speech and free speech is important"

Holding a Prophet Mohammad drawing contest = "Well really, you're just asking for it"

Why are Christians being held to a higher standard? Is it because they are intellectually superior and don't immediately turn violent when someone or something insults their views or is it for some other reason?

Both things are pathetic and aimed to incite a reaction. However both religions should be big enough not to react.

Indeed they are, and yes practitioners of both religious SHOULD be bigger than any man made insult of their God of choice.

    HOWEVER

Only 1 group is expected to not react with violence....so I ask again: Is that because the Christians are intellectually superior or is there another reason?
