That article is a bit homophobic.
It was a crime to be gay back then. The age of consent for homosexual's wasn't reduced to 16 until the 2000's in the UK.
Would anyone think it "nonce behaviour" if a 16+ female teenager had a relationship with a 20/30/40+ male?

It happens regular though with older men and teenage girls (legal).
Was watching a food show on channel 4 the other month with Gary Lineker's brother (40+) whose bird was 17. Personally thought it was a bit weird but it's clearly not considered nonse stuff

I was with plenty of 16/17 year olds when I was in my 30s. Seriously.
