Wlad never gets a KO or good performance when it matters. Whenever he fights in the States he always stinks out the building with his nonsense, or even when it's a big fight people are excited about like David Haye.

Then he'll go and rattle off a few great KOs when only the Germans are watching.

    The Pulev KO didn't matter?

If Haye kept from flailing around on the canvas like a fish out of water and actually come to FIGHT not come to just cash a check, then maybe we would have seen a KO! Same goes for Sultan Ibragimov!

Wlad's opponents seem to want to try the Floyd Mayweather Jr. style of winning which is A) fucking difficult as hell and B ) not fan friendly. To win a fight WHILE backing up is almost (almost) impossible....and to make it look good is even harder because you're depending on your opponent to be the bull while you are the matador...often times that doesn't happen because not all boxers are so stupid. The guys looking to last 12 vs Wlad are using that strategy, side to side movement, trying to create angles, trying to walk Wlad into a punch....if Wlad is landing the jab on you that means he's scoring points and when he's scoring points he's winning rounds and because he's patient he's alright with winning rounds.

Now if Deontay Wilder just says "Fuck it, I'm dropping bombs from the start of the fight" then I'll give him a MUCH better chance of winning than someone just looking to survive and steal a few rounds. It takes more than just a high guard to beat Wlad, it takes more than just 1 big punch to beat Wlad as well....you've got to hit him, you've got to follow up, and you've got to keep your hands free it's the same way you'd beat Floyd Mayweather Jr, same way you'd beat Bernard Hopkins, same way you'd beat Lennox Lewis....it's tough, it's dangerous, but that's how it must be done.

The Pulov KO was great but why can't he do that in front of a sold out MSG, instead of across the pond in front of the Krauts?

He's big, he's got a good look, he's dominant... people in the States WANT to like him but whenever he comes over here he stinks the arena out.

the pulev fight was very flattering

wlad was holding like fuck, or trying too, then pulev landed and shook him, pulev got careless and got caught on the way in and then the fight was over, pulev never recovered and was no longer competitive

Alright I'll just respond with Pulev came to fight, Jennings came to survive. David Haye came to survive, Sultan Ibragimov came to survive....ALL dominant champions have to deal with that and some have better tactics in dealing with that, some styles are meant to deal with that. Wlad is perhaps too cerebral in the ring which no it's not what people want to see, but by God it's fucking brilliant because he not only has an easy time beating fighter, he gives fighters a very hard time when they are trying to beat him.

Joe Louis had a style that would have found a way to KO Sultan and Jennings...but at that same time it would put Joe at more risk to being knocked down (which happened on occasion) but again Joe was fighting 15 rounds in his title fights so guys would only be able to run for so long.

Mike Tyson had a style where if you didn't throw enough punches to keep him off of you then he'd corner you and force you to the canvas either by power, speed, or accumulation of punches.

Wlad will wait a guy out, George Foreman would chase fighters down early in his career and in the second act of his career he'd be patient with them and let the win just happen KO or not.

It's not in Wlad's style to fight with a sense of urgency once he's up on the cards...I mean if he can sense the KO, or it's open for him he'll get it his record speaks for itself on that. But if a fighter is being very difficult and cagey, Wlad will put in an effort where he can be casual and win rounds because to win the belts you HAVE to come to the ring looking to BEAT the champion....the judges and refs won't just hand belts over just because a guy lasts 12.

please dont laugh at el kabong too much, he has deep sexual feelings for wlad and this distorts his point of view

but lets not let this thread slip to page two

its very important we keep the truth about the big cheat live and current
