I think it should have been a best out of three in any event. Sure, the first fight stunk a little- but that is no indication that a second and possibly third fight would be the same.

When was the last time Manny REALLY stunk up the place? I can't remember a time.

A rematch should only happen and does generally speaking only happen if one of these 3 circumstances are met.

1) It was a great close fight
2) It was a controversial win for either fighter
3) It was an upset win.

None of these are true of the Mayweather - PacMan fight.

So why should there be a rematch ? I thought the atmosphere was rubbish. It had a very corporate feel to it, made up of non-boxing fans.

But anyway Manny was beaten and he didn't do enough to think that the result would change in a rematch. Plus there are many other fighters waiting in the wings to challenge Mayweather so I think it would be a disgrace to Boxing should a rematch happen.

An upset did happen. Did you not see the poll right before the fight. Pac winning was at about 70%, voted by everybody who tuned in.

I will only respect Manny Pacquiao the same level I did before if he fights a young or an up-and-comer like Kell Brook. A high risk, low reward opponent. And he doesn't even have to win to get my respect back. Just get in there for pride and not for money. If he came out winning and conscious, we can talk about the rematch with Floyd.

Manny had his shoulder scoped and all the people that spread misinformation will do so again. The train keeps rolling along. What Floyd fans have said would happen and Floyd said would happen (the Hit list and that excuses would be made to discredit) for years has all happened. But an injury from 2008 changed his fight in 2015 haha. It's almost as bad a story as a "fear of needles".

Ohhh, ok! That's why Manny hasn't been getting the KO's he once did, and that's why he lost to JMM and Floyd. Poor guy!

This is just getting sadder and sadder. As much as a I rag on Pac, he is a legit ATG and one of the greatest offensive fighters of ALL TIME. A true warrior, a great action fighter... it's just sad to see him grasping at straws and being a sore loser. Have some integrity and admit that you and your camp talked a great game for 6 years about how Floyd was scared of you, how he couldn't handle your speed/power/work rate/ect, how you were going to knock him out... you had 36 minutes to make good on your promises, and you failed.

The Pacquaio camp had 20 years of footage to watch, they knew how Floyd was going to fight (like he always does), they knew they couldn't let him fight that way and they had to do something to fight their own fight, and they couldn't do it.
