Parts of the NHS needs to be outsourced to voluntary organisations as a monopoly is not a good thing.

Teachers should be responsible to teach kids and not chase targets.

Police need to merge as there are too many divisions.

Renationalise the services into non profit making organisations who will bid for the work and focus on quality not only profit.

That is a lot of British specific stuff right there.

America spends PLENTY on schools per student....yet we lack the results of other nations that are spending less...WHY?

Too much Capitalism One look at Academia and you'll find that FAR from the case.

Your "Parts of NHS need to be outsourced" and "Renationalize the services" are kind of ideas that are at odds with each other aren't they? NHS needs the private sector for a little help and you're good with that but services need to be run by the state 100%....will that make things better or worse? You could get what you pay for if you don't watch out.

Not all of them. They need capacity building but that should be done as that investment will save in the long run.
