Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
I went to Berlin this past October and doing the tours around the war areas was really quite sad. Berlin really got torn the fuck up, you forget it wasn't just a country full of evil Nazis, most of the victims like usual were just normal everyday people. As we were in certain areas the guide would talk about what the area used to be like before the war.

U571 good movie. And yes master. The German scientists were in a rush to surrender to the US as the Russians closed in. Not all the scientists were clean of war crimes but the US pulled some magic to clean their records. The US space program evolved from the German V2 rocket.

Actually @ryanman I don't think the first enigma machine was actually captured in a sub. It's been a long time since I've seen the movie. Now I need to look up the whole story of how the limeys captured the first enigma machine, if indeed there were more than one.
Yes, England had the enigma machine prior to the war, apparently, the poles handed it off. I guess some of the innards were missing so the taking of the second machine was quite brilliant. It is sad that the American movie gives no factually account of what happened. Then again, Jon Bon Jovi was in the movie.
What do you think is the best WW2 movie. My vote goes to saving private Ryan. I know it wasn't based on a true story but the d day landing pays tribute to what those guys went through. Eastwoods flags of our fathers and letters from Iwo Jima were phenomenal.
Saving Pvt. Ryan isn't too legit to quit either?
What could I have expected from a Hollywood that made up a talking elephant named Mr.Snufalufagous and a purple dinosaur with homosexual tendencies.
Thanks a lot walrus...ryanman..

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Well observed. I always try to look at the other side in politics as you know that you are only going to get one side. Churchill was a war criminal psychopath and people should know that. It doesn't matter how it is spun, but he ordered the destruction of hundreds of thousands of innocent people and starved to death 4 million Indians amongst many other things. You add up the numbers and he was an english speaking Hitler minus the moustache. 'Blasphemy' they cry as they build the new reich themselves.
