Who the F**K is Mayfield ?

I'm no boxing nerd, but I'd like to think I've heard of most fighters who are coming up or half way decent. But I've never even heard of this Mayfield dude, yet he could face Mayweather. I'm mean, nothing will top the hype of Mayweather-Pacman, but this like dating Adrianna Lima, then dumping her and moving in with Roseanne Barr.

Andre Berto ? A guy that's lost three of his last six fights ? I mean. Cmon

I mean - You can't begrudge Mayweather for taking an easy fight, as he's been fighting the best guys out there for the past 17 years, but if he and the money team and showtime think ppl will just gladly dish out the PPV money for this ? Then they could be mistaken

Lol he did sound quite convincing he was saying he might need to fight an easier fight before he goes for the big 50th fight and we all know he's going for 50-0

Sadly, if not a Manny rematch, it will be either Khan, Brook, Garcia, Bradley or Thurman.

I'm not even gonna say Cotto rematch or GGG. That is just not happening. GGG is too big, and Cotto has other options. Most of which is Alvarez (Canelo), GGG and Andy Lee.

Why sadly? You honestly think Pac has more of a chance than those guys?

He had his shot and he came up a mile short. Time to move on and give someone else a chance.

I dont think any of those names stands a chance of beating Mayweather and thats what is going to sell. Fighters that punters believe have a genuinechance of beating Floyd, not just possibly winning a few rounds or pushing him a bit but actually beating him.

Thatwill only come at middle weight.

Cotto would never fight Mayweather now.

Can you imagine them two bitching about what catchweight and rehydration limits to set? Let alone who comes in to the ring first, again.

I think Cotto absolutely would fight Floyd without much bitching. It just a case where he wants the most money he possibly can to finish his career. Alvarez in the best case scenario doesn't present half the payday, and the weight would actually be really important in that fight, wheras Floyd isn't naturally bigger or likely to seriously hurt him in any case. Literally anyone in boxing would fight Floyd at this point, is so worth the damage you'll take it's ridiculous.
