i was drunk when i watched froch kessler 1 the first time, i saw kessler coming forward more and thought he deserved it overall

the next day i saw that there were people who suggested it was a home town decision so i watched it again and i thought froch won, in fact at about round 6 it looked like kessler was done

    Ah, liquid vision.
Watching a fIght with allot of people can also alter my Fight judging skills.
My family is so biased for Ali, then when I watch Ali Frazier alone, different story.

    Muhammad Ali vs. Alfredo Evangelista

There were some Boxing Announcers who were calling Alfredo Evangelista as a
better fighter than Earnie Shavers, who was supposed to fighting Muhammad Ali.

    Yes, they actually said that.

    Adamak vs Briggs II.

1st time watching it fight II, I scored it 7-5 like the 1st fight.

Not as good as the first bout as Adamak just couldn't outslug him this time- bleeding profusely, he did boxed his way to the 12th.

judge: Mauro Di Fiore 113-113, Ray Hawkins 115-111, Ken Morita 114-112

Last two times I watched it- it was a draw. Couldn't give Adamak a 7th round.

I'm surprised Floyd-Canelo has gotten as much attention as it has in this particular thread. I personally couldn't say how I'd view it differently, because I'd rather watch paint dry than to watch Floyd totally shut out Canelo again. The hype was incredible.... the fight was piss poor. It brought out the fact that Canelo didn't belong in the ring with Floyd in the first place. The only other "hype vs. real fight" letdown was Floyd-Pac... and at least Pac was able to actually hit Floyd a few times during the fight.

Yeah but that says a lot about Floyd, doesn't it? That he could go up a weight class and dominate a guy who was #1 there and over 20lbs heavier than him on fight night. Canelo is no joke and Mayweather made him look like a bum.

Manny v Floyd, I now see it as many winning by shut out.

I mean I know it wasn't Gatti/Ward but when you watch the boxing craft that Mayweather displayed, especially at his advanced age, it's incredible.

I find it weird that boxing heads love to talk about the craft of past guys like Willie Pep and marvel at how slick they were, but then totally dismiss the craft of modern day guys as boring or cowardly. If you appreciate the sweet science, Floyd brings the goods.
