I just want all fighters to fight guys on their level. I'll say it again, 160 is weak and has been except for brief moments since the early 90s. And before that it had long stretches as well. It's considered a historical division but its history doesn't match its reputation.

I don't see a prospect going the distance as a bad thing. If they end up doing the distance, it proves that they can and any fighter who is expecting to win titles needs to be able to do that.

I hear what you're saying though. I guess we all judge fighters by their most recent performances and it often leads to us getting things wrong. The truth is, when it comes to many boxers, we really don't know what they are capable of on any given night.

I respect all fighters. Also I put my money where my mouth is. Most of you arrogant big mouths would get exposed in 2 minutes if you couldn't be massive aftertimers. Fact.

Yes that is ironic that you would start a thread where you are the biggest culprit.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

We can be stubborn cynical nomads, but you have to have a thick skin and open minded to begin with to follow this often mentally abusive sport. And that's just pertaining to the fans

A guy going the distance for the first time is equally an opportunity to see his full arsenal and talent on display, be it revealing good or bad or both. Wilder for example, to me, showed as many red flags as it did him proving to be some will o the wisp boxing mind. Those red flags appeared again with Molina. He battled back, power in tow and stamina was smooth. If you're not looking at the gaps or negatives when being sold a reasonably yet to be proven prospect or in more cases..a champion ..then I should be judging costumes at Comin Con, though some of those fans are freaky and anal about historical accuracy Boxing and boxers are as random as the day. Case by case and credit where credit is due.
