I didn't see Abrahams last fight or two, but I think Hopkins would probably still be way to cunning and capable enough to handle him. It would have that intrigue because AA really does have one punch power and Hopkins' last fight was probably the worst night he's ever had, though. Would be cool to see Hopkins travel to fight him in Germany, just for the atmosphere.

I agree with @p4pking. If Hop has anything left and I no longer count him out, I think he embarrasses the turtle. I think it looks an awful lot like the Murat fight and Hop has been talking about retirement lately albeit doing that before and he wants to leave on a high note. Great fight for him to cap an extraordinary career. I'm assuming it will be at 168 for the trinket or it quickly becomes a dud of a finish at a silly catch.

Bhop only looked bad last fight because it was against the beast kovalev. Abraham has never been good and is even worse now that he is older. The way to beat bhop is to set a fast pace. Abraham hardly throws punches and bhop will easily win even considering his age. If kovalev couldn't stop him, no way Abraham can.

Hopkins sees something about Abraham he thinks will give him the advantage. Hopkins is shrewd that way and other than Kovalev has a excellent track record.

Yeah this is a winnable fight for Hopkins. VD is right though, it'd have to be boring as hell.

If I was AA, I'd ignore Hopkins completely.

Hopkins would school him. No way Sauerland agrees to this. Because Degalehas a management agreement with Haymon and Hopkins aint likely to fight Ward, his best chance is to get Chudinov to fight him if he want a Title at 168.
