red meat contains some creatine, but not nearly in the kind of quantaties that powders and pills can provide. youd have to eat 20 steaks to get a days worth of pills, and then youd be heavy and bloated... not so useful for boxing

can provide, they are only really superior if you are consuming the insane amount that people take during a loading phase, or if you want to intake more than what is necessary to maintain your creatine levels.

Assuming you have been training and eating red meat for a while then your creatine threshold won't be much less than some one who has saturated themselves with it.

You can't load up quickly on creatine like you can with supplements, but a lot of people including me don't see the loading phase as beneficial or necessary, more of a 'get muscles quick' affair... I'm in this for the long run anyway.

I took creatine for about two months. I noticed a pretty large gain in my strength and endurance. The downside is that I jumped from about 200 lbs to around 220 lbs VERY quickly. That didn't really bother me, because I don't compete yet, but if you're already competing, or are looking to compete, that can be a HUGE detriment. 20 lbs can mean the difference in fighting someone your size to fighting someone a foot taller than you :P

P.S. Reason I quit creatine was because my job changed hours, so I couldn't get to the gym as often as I'd need to in order to make creatine really worth it, not because it quit working or anything. But on the other hand, I've since started working out again WITHOUT the creatine and have just as much endurance and strength as I did on the creatine, but I'm still around the 200lbs mark. So take from that what you will.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?

That's because your diet alone must be maintaining your creatine threshold, like I say, given the right Amino acids (which you will get from complete protiens found in meat) your body will produce creatine by itself and it is found in most meats any way

Because most people's diets are pish...

You think a conditioning freak like Rocky Marciano had to take cocktails of powders to be that explosive? or a young Mike Tyson to be that powerful?

They just ate right, they do have a use, but don't be fooled, they are not the magic pills supplement companies would have you believe they are...

Not to pry, but why can't you get a job if you're 17? I've been working since i was 14. McDonalds will hire literally ANYBODY and you can work almost any hours you can dream up for yourself. Even if you can't work often, any little bit of money helps.

Be your own boss working as a personal trainer. All you need is a confident manner and appear to know what your talking about. Market yourself with homemade posters as 100% effective, guarantee results and all that stuff. Get people to sign-up over the phone or via email and pay in advance for a twelve week course, then take the fatties that sign-up for a two hour walk 4 times a week. Who knows it might take off then you could franchise it.
