I'm a Floyd fan but I don't take insults against him personally. I just give the man his due.

I'm not going to defend him outside the ring for the women beating, degenerate gambling, "thug" mentality, ultra materialism, and overall douche baggery. And I'm not going to defend him fighting Berto, which is a shit fight than nobody should care about. If I could make a list of 15 current sports stars I'd want to meet and hang out with, he wouldn't make the list. And I'm not going to talk about him like he's an exciting fighter. His M.O. is to win and take as little damage as possible, and that's not necessarily fan friendly.

But I do think the haters on this forum go to much crazier lengths than the Floyd lovers. There are people here who will tell you Floyd isn't an all-time great. I think most people have a hard time looking at Floyd objectively. Every day there are ridiculous arguments made as to why he sucks, people make stuff up and rewrite history, and people also apply a lot of moronic double standards to Floyd.

If someone is saying something that's incorrect about Floyd, I'm going to call them on it just like if they said something incorrect about any other fighter.
