Chuvalo sounds like any 78 year old man, despite 93 professional fights (Ali twice, Foreman, Frazier, Patterson, Quarry, Cleveland Williams, Bonavena, Terrell, ect).

Toughest built boxer ever. Talks better than Floyd does.

I agree with your point, he sounds good. But the video says Chuvalo is Canada's greatest heavyweight, ummm, Lennox Lewis is Canada's greatest heavyweight.

Norris had a ton of amateur fights. Forgot how many, but it was a lot.

Did not realise that. Must have shortened his pro career.

Yes, and he took a lot of punishment in his pro career. Even that 3 round war with Troy Waters, and the Julian Jackson KO... YIKES.

Add Simon Brown to the list. Terry had a tendency of overengaging with stronger fighters and leaving himself open during exchanges. Talented as hell, great footwork and decent head movement (when he wanted to use it).

Although Roger was a champion he spent too much time in the range of punchers when he should have used speed of foot. Vinnie Pazienza converted into the boxer he should have been and resurrected his career with Tyson's old trainer. Floyd would be in the same mess if his pro roots were planted exclusively with Roger. Floyd senior thought defensively and that thinking got help from his loss to Ray Leonard. If Roger fought more like Floyd in attitude, maybe he wouldn't be quite as bad off. He was a good champion though.

Did you guys know there were 3 Curry brothers? Don & Bruce were best known but there was also Graylin Curry. According to Don Graylin was best of the 3. He said Glaylin never lost a fight as an amateur but never took turning pro seriously.. Don wanted to play baseball & really only turned pro to earn enough money to put him through college. but he kept winning LOL
