My mum used to watch some of the big fights, mainly involving British fighters, back in the day but she doesn't watch it anymore.
She would never let me box as a kid though. I begged her for years but she was having none of it. I had to wait until I was 18 when I left home before I was able to join a club. Even then, after all the years begging to give it a go, I didn't stick with it for long as I was more interested in going out and enjoying myself than being punched in the face. What a fool I was!![]()

My mum recognises Mike Tyson, as I was a fan of his and she called him my brother. Other than that she does not recognise any of them.
