Nice little fight that! Stream was choppy right at the finish so couldn't tell if the stoppage was early or Ruiz should have hung on or taken a knee, either way nice action.

I think he was done. That left hook rang his bell and he couldn't even wrap up Ceja to hold on. He started taking some vicious shots, I think the right call was made.

Yea you right, on replay it was a huge knockdown and Ruiz' was really planked. Good fight though! Is Mares-LSC after this little filler for sure?

I believe so. I wasn't aware they were even having this filler fight. I thought they cut it down to two fights because espn has an arena football league contract to honor.

Mares said he didn't want a war. Guess he lied.

The flurry exchanges kind of remind me of Morales-Barrera...gonna be a hard one to judge if it stays like this.

Mares a little wild with his haymakers and leaving himself open for a counter shot.

Cruz is coming close to imposing his will. Mares is doing his damnest to prevent that from happening.

Should have taken a knee for sure but that left hand put him deep into fuzzy land so he was not thinking straight. Too bad, he was ahead for sure.
