More and more Briggs reminds me of some over aggressive half loon pan handler who rushes your window at the stop light. He's amongst some of best heavyweights this weekend and still reduced to buffoonery.

Crazy like a fox or the Mad Trapper Albert Johnson who kept the early RCMP at bay in our North by simply wearing his snow shoes backwards.

Truth be told I think Briggs beats most of the clams in the division and his desire and return in really nothing short of spectacular. I think he's as dangerous as hell and has a much better pedigree then anyone Wlad has fought.

I have a 2 mile bridge over a 5 mile wide river I want to sell you then Yeh Briggs 'looks' spectacular and credit for staying in shape and barging his way into the conversation of guys who actually beat a top ten heavyweight there but I sat and watched Briggs load up and suck air against a guy since blasted out by Molina and Joshua and cannot buy into his charade. He's a presence for sure but truth be told he was never that good. I think a Jennings beats him up.

Wlad has changed his hair style and shaved back and sides. he looks more like Ivan Drago everyday.

What has Briggs done to deserve another shot? Who is he fighting Saturday to justify being next?

How would we know? I can't recall him fighting anyone remotely decent since Vitali beat the snot out of him back in like aught 10. I suspect if he did fight someone with a pulse he would look like the same guy with no stamina.

He's always been big- but I can't remember seeing abs on him like that. Dude has been training seriously. Side note- nice to see Evander & Moorer are cool.

Gr8 fight-until his asthma kicks in (2 rounds?)

Lennox & older brother Klitschko beat him down like a dog, but he wouldn't stay down. He definitely has a set of whiskers on him.

I could see a cautious champ allowing Shannon to stay in the fight longer than needed. If Haye talked himself into a title shot, then Shannon has too.

Difference, Shannon wont cry ouch for toe jam, bunions or corns.
