Karpency was trying to take the fight to Stevenson until Stevenson landed the lefthand that buckled Karpency's knees, from that point on Karpency was backing up and doomed to a short night.

Yeh he had the right idea and even landed a few decent shots, but Stevenson had that eraser. I was glad Stevenson finally sacked up and put Kovalev name in his mouth but doesn't mean a thing until you sign. I still see Adonis, or 'Pizza Chit' as Kovalev calls him, very stiff and rigid, I think Kovalev will knock him out. Watch his legs and the lurches he leaves himself in.

You are right, it was the only chance Karpency had. Stevenson does look a little stiff and out of position at times, and like you, I really want to see Kovalev in the ring with him.
With a good undercard that would be a PPV I'd be happy to pay for!
