Pretty sure Wilder had the literal sink tied to his hands there...Johann took a bashing last minute and ref is looking for a reason! I don't see reason to warn French in corner

When you do the Ali shuffle and Jones Jr. chicken pose to start round only to lay on your opponent end of 7th...you're not learning anything

I see Russ Anber in as Wilders cut man and obviously co-trainer with Breland

Ref allowed a lot of punishment, seen plenty of fights stopped prematurely.

Not all named fighters can fight.
Not all no namers can't fight.
America knows this fight was very entertaining. End note, I think wilder can swell easy.

Boxing fans find shit wrong in every fight. Casual fans saw this as lighting up the hw division.

Great fucking fight to introduce back on nbc.
Wilder missing shots that his foe ducked under. Even though wilder and team failed to adjust to his wild misses...Wilder adjusted and used that uppercut.

Unlike Vladimir who lost in his early bouts...Wilder hasn't.

Great beat down for a fighter who had a hell of a chin swollen eye didn't frustrate wilder 326 punches landed at 50 percent to his foe who landed only half that.

Wilder has maximized what he has available, very solid finish and believes in himself. Great confidence. That said..he cannot put Alabama fan base in a suitcase. I don't see him ready for Wlad in this lifetime

I disagree. Wilder didn't maximize. If so he would have depended on one or two things with no adjustment.

He adjusted later rounds and found that uppercut. He landed punches with both hands an landed every where.
Deontay at worst proved he is still a work in Progress.

    Again.

Damn good fight. NBC benefited. Wilder proved he can go the distance
against with a come forward fighter.

    This was wilder's Corrie Sanders.

He found the uppercut on a Stiverne who literally moved his head what, 4 or 5 times tops? Its always been a staple and used as finisher but all have fallen prior. I was most impressed that he fought and maintained beyond an essentially closed left eye, while going into it. I like the explosiveness...but I do believe we've seen the best of Wilder going forward and he'll have to cope.

Agreed given the level of opponent. Povetkin decapitates him, Wlad hospitalizes him.
