The opponent was never meant to be any kind of threat. They are desperately trying to find acceptable WBC defences before they face zpovetkin but like spicoli said, this is it with Wilder. If Wlad actually defends against Tyson and Wilder gets past Povetkin there is a huge unification fight between Wilder and Fury.
A lot of 'ifs' and it would be huge, but like someone said in another thread don't bet the house on it. There's possible weak links with huge disappointments at both ends of that chain.
