Yes, there is truth to this. Obama admin stated in a survey inmates complained about pork dishes the most. Apparently, precooked bacon and pork rinds are available in the commissary. This law would only apply to federal prisons which I believe has about 200000 inmates not state prisons which have the bulk. I'm going to need to look up the Muslim population in federal prisons.
