Solid performance from GGG. That jab was outstanding, Lemieux didn't get into any form of rhythm at all and he was just clean outboxed from start to finish. That was a very one sided fight for sure.

I am surprised that people are surprised that Golovkin is a boxer. He has always been a technically sound fighter. Same old Golovkin IMO and very good he is too.

GGG dirty fighter! What a piece of shit.
Hits his opponent on the ground. Hits him after the bell.

Terrible stoppage by the ref! You'd think this fight was in the UK with that kind of bullshit reffing and stoppage!

    Absolutely pathetic!!!

Could he stick his tongue further up Golovkin's ass while Buffer announced the winner? I don't think so.

Does he have a glass eye? A lazy eye? Whats with his fucking eyes!?!??!

Purchased enough beer so that I could drink all the way through from the Wales game at 4pm to the end of the Golovkin fight around 5am. Fell asleep around 11pm, now I have a fridge full of beer and work tomorrow.

Is it worth watching the fight back?

He was beat there was no way he was going to do anything from there,if you think he could then you are wrong. Real fans care about fighters well being, punks want more blood and a ko like in the eighties when many more ring deaths occurred; the reffing changed due to that, no other reason.

Yes if you like seeing somebody being jabbed in the face about 500 times

Golovkin is just a machine, the jab has gotta be the best in boxing and he's just crazy power in both hands.
He just ruthlessly beats you down and I dont see a weakness at all.
The chin looks rock solid to me too.
I just see him doing the same to Cotto or The Ginger one.
Lemeiux was fucked and looked at the ref just before the stoppage almost wanting him to save him.
Good stoppage superb display by GGG.
    What a fighter he is

Bit disappointed with the referee really. Thought he was awful. Golovkin should have had points taken for hitting on the floor and perhaps should have had a stronger word with GGG for hitting after the bell.

I also think as the rounds went on, Lemieux was having a bit more success. Not by much, but he was starting to take more risks and looked like landing something. He was warning of the stoppage from about round 6 and he kind of stepped in when not much was happening for the eventual stoppage. Just frustrating as Lemieux was showing signs of going for broke, which probably would have been his best bet to begin with.

Golovkin is really good, but I want to see him against names. Lemieux was game, but limited. Its a shame the Hopkins, Williams, Pavlik, Taylor sorts are no longer around. MW looks a little barren. Kind of Calzaghe at SMW at MW.

He's telepathic, he felt some bad vibes directed toward him and was trying to find you through the camera. He gets that look on his face in search mode. Beware!

GGG should have had a stern warning or a point deduction for the punch when Lemieux was down but the stoppage was legit and well timed. Lemieux was getting his ass handed to him and it would have gotten worse as the fight progressed. GGG was going to beat Lemieux into the canvas if that is what it took.
Lemieux was giving everything he had and it was not enough, in any way at all! Fact, as Fenster says.
