Who has he fought and beaten? I checked his record...I'm not impressed

Jennings hadn't fought anyone before his last two fights either, depends how impressed you were by those I guess. Of course it's a step up for Ortiz, but Jennings isn't a big puncher and he's physically pretty outgunned here imo, I think it's a wise move.

his win against szpilka was pretty impressive and his best performance too(in my opinion), I think Szpilka is a pretty good conteder and could give a lot of guys a really good fight and beat a lot of them too.

It's going to be interesting and a fight I am looking forward to, can't wait to see it !

I think Szpilka is just decent and Ortiz would/would have easily pummeled him in a couple of rounds, which was part of my point. I agree this is a great fight though!

Maybe, I think it's certainly a big step up for ortiz, I like jennings but I sort of hope ortiz wins this one well so we have a new guy in the title picture.

I was impressed when he ate old Monte Barrett alive.

Jennings is def more proven but he's not sensational and his resume isn't all that deep either.

Fighting 'someone' doesn't always mean you've actually been in a fight. Jennings has had steady levels of progression in opposition, as he rises so does the opponent. For 20 fights his roll and rounds traveled blow away many at the point including Ortiz. Not even close. That's just refreshing and a blueprint for improvement rather than being baby stepped to title and then go backwards like that other guy . The question always posed and at front especially for heavies...has anyone seen Ortiz punched in the mouth, take a solid shot Off the jab Ortiz is a fookin monster early but if he thinks he can Ibeabuchi Jennings he may get spun and rung up underneath. Even better fight more I think about it.

Get that totally, but outside of Wlad, I think Ortiz would have simply made easier work of anyone else Jennings fought, and you could make the same point if he had. I might be alone in thinking that how bad Jennings looked against Perez in the early rounds is the most relevant precedent for how this one will go, I don't think Jennings will be able to handle the power coming from a lefty who can deliver and will actually let his hands go. For me, Jennings was one of Wlads worse performances in recent years, another guy he should impressed against but didn't. Great match up though, it's an exciting HW fight for a change, let's wait and see.

    Ortiz by KO.

He's a stalker with legit power and a Cuban boxing background.

I am looking forward to this, I quite like jennings and I think he is a talented guy, Ortiz has looked impressive in his last few outings despite his failed drug test(but really who isn't at it :S), so I think this is going to be a very interesting fight but not super fun to watch. I am going for Jennings to win a very close decision, with ortiz coming close to knocking him out in the later rounds.

star wars battlefront is great fun btw

El Bump! Under the radar card here, respectable big division match and still riding with Jennings. Ortiz is a legit deceptive monster who I like but nice to see Jennings connect in between the lumber and get it! Who cares, good fight!

Walters fight reads like a lopsided showcase style-size wise and they have return of Gamboa too!

LOL your smugness is failing you.

Think you need to remove Wladimir from the epicenter of your thought train.
