Crawford is talented and being humble is a good thing as most fighters are pompous assholes today.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Humility is an interesting aspect of life because we tend to look at the display to judge, but the actions tell far more. Whenever a fighter improves greatly you can assume they work hard, and working hard suggests respect for others even if you don't display this respect. Hopkins talks arrogantly but his career demonstrates great respect. Crawford does seem a humble sort, i hope he backs it up by showing respect for the fans in his matchmaking.
I don't care as much about a fighter being humble as I do about him being respectful to the other fighter. Many times, it seems, they forget that it takes two to make a fight. How are they going to test themselves, make any money, climb that ladder, impress family, make their country proud, or grab that glory if they do not have a willing opponent standing across the ring?
Many times it is impossible to be respectful to an opponent. If you tried to be respectful to Broner, Ali, or Mayorga they would turn it around and make you look the fool. I would still appreciate the effort.![]()
There was a moment after Lampley mentioned it as the "Golovkin show" for the second time when Roy seemed to get pissed and almost shout it down with respect for Crawford. Was pretty refreshing and needed to be said because Lamps was drunk with Golovkin love.
Performances by Crawford of late has made Ricky Burns' effort not too bad...Thought he beat Figuero too IMO.
