Finally. Glad they got it done. Hopefully the winner stops avoiding Rigondeaux.

The pity for Rigo is overdone. He has promotional and managerial issues that he hasn't been able to get past. This is a major showdown at junior featherweight. Let's just be happy that it got made.

As to the fight, I always favored Frampton, but his performance in his last fight had me scratching my head a bit. If that guy can put him down twice . . . I might lean Quigg.

Not on sale yet. If you are planning to support Quigg Id recommend signing up to matchroom fight pass. Is 40 pound for the year but gives you access to presale tickets. This will sell out quick. If you are supporting Frampton you can get tickets off Cyclone Promos in a few weeks. Again you want to be ready to book as soon as they go onsale.

I must admit that Rigondeaux has to pocket some of the blame for his inactivity and decisions not to move up or down to make meaningful bouts, but the fact the other top names in the division did everything possible to detour around him should not be ignored.

Like I said I'm glad they got this done and if Rigo can get active then the drums will start beating for the winner to fight him.

Rigo needs to suck it up and take less money before its too late for his career. Take the fights prove your the best then you can demand shit. Fucking entitled generations.

Cracking fight and about time they got the deal made. Good long training camps mean they should both be right on it by February. Frampton for me, but an argument can be made for either fighter winning. Shame that it is likely to be a PPV. *booooo*

We just had anticipated press conferences between AJ-Whyte/Jr-Spike where nothing happened.

Frampton and Quiggs mob have genuine "hate" for each other.

The Mcguigans are building a decent little crew and I lile Shanes training style.
Still think Quigg wins this early by KO though.
I think he'll come out like a windmill and smash Frampton to pieces.

This should be decent matchup, two undefeated winners who belive in themselves.

It's a tight call, but I'm going to pick Frampton by a mid to late stoppage. I think Quigg is very dangerous early on, good hitter and fast, but Frampton has the better technique and heavier hands generally. I think both guys will actually start out quite cautious and Framptons superior innate strength gives him the age once the first few rounds are over.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some controversy during the fight, but I reckon Frampton starts to bully him after the 7th.

Having said that, neither is the best fighter in the world at the weight.

I think Quigg may do what he did to Kiko early , but the longer it goes I favour Frampton.
