Tall lean mean punching machine, down to earth guy. Two of the most devastating kos I've seen had to be those of Tiger and poor Mike Quarry who was layed out like someone dropped a building on him. Rest easy champion

Prime Foster v prime Jones jr? mmmm I think Roy's chin gets tested?
Apart from one loss to the great South American LH and unlucky Mauro Mina, Foster really only lost to the Heavyweights in Jones, Terrell, Folley, Frazier and Ali. For ten years he dominated the Light heavyweight division. Roy would've had big problems with Bob Foster!

I have have him tied with Jones the only guy i have above him is Spinks who feel is the greatest lhw. It is a shame he died but 76 is a long time to be on earth and i am sure he made the most of his time when he was here hope you rest in peace champ good luck to you.
Bob Foster
Asked if he was ever scared in the Ring.
Bob said >
"Yes, I was very scared after I hit Mike Quarry. I saw him laying there on the canvas, and he wasn't moving.
I thought that I Fucking killed him."

Great fighter and one of the greatest light heavyweights ever. Class act all the way. He will be missed....

Bob Foster
Age .......... 26 years, 1 month
Record ..... 14-2-0 {10 KO's}
'Ring Magazine' did not give Robert Lloyd Foster the credit he deserved early in his career. While most of
the Boxing Pundits regarded Bob Foster as one of the most dangerous Light-Heavyweight's in the Division
as early as mid-1964, 'Ring Magazine' failed to rank Bob in the Top 10 of the 175 lb. Division.
Their reasoning was, that Bob Foster had lost {2} of his '16-Bouts'.
