    Default Bob Foster tonight

For anyone interested, ESPN Classic is finally airing some old Bob Foster fights; his 64' fight with Ernie Terrel and the classic fight with Mike Quarry where he practically pops Quarry's head off.

He would look a Mundine and he would be out and if one of those left hooks went within 8 inch of Roy Jones jaw he would be talking in his sleep again

When you watch the Foster/Quarry fight you can see Foster's concern after he KO's Quarry. Later in an interview he said he thought he might have killed Quarry.

Yes he did show alot of concern for Mike. Foster one of the greats and a compassionate guy. I still cringe whenever I see him hit Quarry with that shot; and I've seen it a hundred times. It was going down like that eventually and good thing that happened early on instead of after he had taken more of a beating from Bob.

I think Bob Foster is the greatest Lightheavyweight of all time next to Archie Moore.

Bob, my fav. LHW all time...
I know hes your fav. to. Friday when I home from work I worked out and my internet was down so I started watching some Bob Foster fights. I saw his fights vs. Tiger, Finnegan, De Paula I and Pierre I.
I feel bad for Tiger because after his loss to Foster it was like Tigers accomplishments were all written off.

I was just watching it this past friday, really like that fight.
Always asked myself why there was never a rematch...
