Congrates on the pick,. Now theres two people that are not going to ever shut up![]()
Im dreading Fury publicly pumping up his own bike tyres from now on. He is going to be greater than the greatest ever, you know; even Tyson on Tyson back in the day. God help us.![]()
I have to eat humble pie here because I thought the moment Wlad threw and connected Fury would be flat and out of there. Still do. Wlad never threw anything with any spite but all credit to Fury for following a game plan. He was pretty emotional on the night and what you may see as pumping up his tires is mainly bravado from a Guy who to be honest, a lot of Brits have no time for. He can be a prick but I think his heart is in the right place. I am happy that an Englishman and a Gypsy is HW champ of the world but I find it hard to celebrate too hard because To be honest I was quite a neutral spectator. And that is from someone whose grandparents lived in a caravan. It's quite nice for all those who called him pikey this and Gypo that to have to wake up with a Gypsy as HW champ though.
Ironically For Romani's, like my lot, a Pikey is someone who is not a true Gypsy, and while "Gypsy" Jem Mace was not actually a Gypsy at all, unlike a lot of Sun readers we have been here since at least the 9th century
In sites across Britain and parts of Ireland there will be one hell of a party tonight
Congratulations Tyson. You did your Uncle, family and people proud

We tried to tell them Ross my brother but they didn't want to listen.
Lets have this thread open again now shall we.....

I think if Tyson was a little more skilled in throwing his punches, it may have even been a KO victory. He threw a lot of those right hands a bit too wide. I was hoping for one of them to land.... and he did connect some good left hooks on Wlad late in the fight. If Wlad had Fury's moxie and bravado.... he'd be unbeatable.
AND...... he'd have a lot more fans. But he doesn't, he isn't, and he doesn't.

The Gypsy Mauler worked him over.
As I said before the fight , I would congratulate the winner.
Well done .
Never thought he could do it on points.
Can't believe how clueless Wlad was. Wasn't used to an opponent having physical superiority.
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Ross put more fight into predicting the upset than the actual fight Wlad put into preventing it![]()
I hope Haye is stamping his feet!
This win trumps his whole career!
This is the best win any heavyweight has had since Douglas beat Tyson! No other heavy has been so dominant for so long and been so humiliated!
