    Smart man.

That last one's an upgrade. The other would've been a definite downgrade.

Every time I curse boxing this year, I turn around and watch a Saints game. Its like they suited up a middle school football team and put them on defense

It took some bullshit calls from the refs to finally defeat the Patriots. It's obvious how the NFL really hates the Patriot dynasty. To add injury to insult, Gronkowski went out injured and who knows how long he'll be out.

No matter. Brady's on a mission, and the Patriots will still win the Super Bowl.

    What a finish!!!

Aaron Rodgers throws a 60-yard Hail Mary into the end zone, and the Packers beat the Lions in the last play of the game! This capped a comeback from a 20-point deficit in which the Packers were scoreless through the whole first half! This victory keeps Green Bay in the playoff hunt, just half game behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL North.

In an eerie similarity to a previous game, Green Bay got a reprieve when a facemask penalty was called on Detroit on the last play of the game, in which Rodgers was tackled. But given the extra play, Aaron threw the Hail Mary. It was just like the recent game where the Jacksonville Jaguars benefitted from another facemask call, which brought them into field goal range, and they hit it.... beating the Baltimore Ravens. Exciting stuff!!

I wonder how this will affect the Packers going forward. Could it be the spark they needed to jumpstart their season again, after starting out undefeated? It's gonna be exciting going forward.

That is only supposed to happen in college games.
To see them give it back to Rodgers IMO was dumb. And the slightest touch to the helmet... Gets a face mask.

    Just a wild comeback!

Gotta hand it to Rodgers, though.
He sold it like a used car salesman preying on some little old lady.

As soon as he felt the hand, he jerked his head down and then while on the ground opened his arms at the ref as if to say..... "Aren't you going to call that?"

Holy crap! It's now 35-14. I thought maybe with Amendola back the Patriots would easily handle the bumbling Eagles. The NFL can sure be topsy-turvy. I'm watching the Panthers struggle with the Saints, although I think they're now ahead.

Good Comeback, but not good enough. Three passes should have been caught.

Well..... the Panthers go to 12-0, while the other previously undefeated team, the Patriots, fall to 10-2. And yet, this is how I see the teams at this point.

I think the Pats will be just fine once Amendola's at 100%, and Gronk and Edelman come back. Brady, regardless of how good he is, needs weapons. I think they'll be fine for playoff time. The Panthers are undefeated, but showed they can be vulnerable. They had to struggle to hold off the lowly Saints, and the pressure of remaining undefeated might get to them at some point. Still... they're a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

Of the other teams, the Broncos look great again... but I'd say they'd have a much better chance with Osweiler at QB. I know it's almost heresy to say that, and I've always been a huge Peyton fan.... but the writing's on the wall. Peyton's old and beat up. Still, I think when he's back from his injuries I feel the Broncos will put him back at starting QB.

The Seahawks are gaining momentum and looking scary again. I'd say they're possibly the best team in the NFC right now. Russell Wilson is playing great, and turning into a complete QB. He's always had the scrambling ability, but now he's doing tremendously well from the pocket. They totally blasted the Vikings this week.

So basically I think the NFC teams to beat are the Panthers, Seahawks, Packers, and Cardinals. The East Division isn't even worth mentioning at this point. I also think the balance of power has shifted a little toward the NFC, because when I look at the AFC, I only see the Patriots, Denver, and Cincinnati as having possibilities in the playoffs.

I'm rooting for the Patriots, because #1 I think Brady is one of THE best quarterbacks in NFL history, and he needs to thumb his nose at the league for the Deflategate scandal, and because #2 I like dynasties in the NFL and the Pats are pretty close to that point right now.

But my true favorite team is the Steelers, and I'd love nothing more than to have them win their 7th Super Bowl.

    uh..I second that emotion!

Not sure why Vikings have such a good record. But I'm sure when the time comes they will choke as always.

Didn't see the game, but Pack did what they needed to do.

Dallas...long...long time since the rule of Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach.

    Long time.
