Undefeated Lt heavy Marcus Browne v trailhorse Francisco Sierra on Showextreme right now

Sierra misses weight by 6 lbs, fight goes on. * tko 4th for Brown. Bad cut result of right hand in 1st round.

Decent little scrap by Algieri and Erick Bone! Chris scores iffy KD in 9th and they finish with solid exchanges and 95-94..97-92x2 win Algieri. A lot less posturing and tap dancing by Algieri tonight.

Jacobs at 175 lbs..Looked like a KD for Cuellar in 3rd Oquendo is slowly running out of room to move..

Better 6th for Oquendo, stopped Cuello still on his heels with couple of counter. Cuello is so crude and seemingly open it works to his advantage.

If anyone cares Deontay Wilder is dressed like a Mime. He's also greatly anticipating his upcoming 3rd defense vs. the always game TBA next month.

Justified stoppage. However, it would have been nice to see Jacobs finish him off.

I thought it was ridiculous of the commentators resorting to the cliched "Jacobs needs to be careful of not punching himself out"

You have an opportunity, you seize it because you may not get it again.

Respect to Jacobs for catching Quillen and pouncing. Respect to Quillen for being a gracious loser. Hopefully Quillen finally learns the dangers/ evils of starting slow.

I previously liked Harvey Dock as a ref. I won't say that changed but I do have some issues with the way things went down. The first being after Jacobs buzzes Quillen and chases. then they lock ed up and dock steps in to separate and Jacobs clubs Quillen behind the ear over docks shoulder without a word from dock. The second is, if you're gonna step in and shoo a fighter off, the other guy deserves an count. If there's no standing 8, then stay the hell out of the way till someone goes down. Third being the stiffarm/forearm use by Jacobs.

Finally credit goes to Jacobs for doing what he had to do, but strangley my skepticism hasn't budged. Perhaps because it was too quick to evaluate. I don't know.. There's something else there that doesn't feel right...
