It means. "if I want to lose, I want to get paid big.... or else I will keep fighting lesser opponents, keep my title and keep my star status." I love how "if the price is right" line has creeps into all those conversations where someone who is just acting the part is confronted with the possibility of fighting generally considered better by the consensus. Technically he hasnt earned a shot at the titles but he's better quillin...
Jacobs is a higher level figjter than quillin..
