I previously liked Harvey Dock as a ref. I won't say that changed but I do have some issues with the way things went down. The first being after Jacobs buzzes Quillen and chases. then they lock ed up and dock steps in to separate and Jacobs clubs Quillen behind the ear over docks shoulder without a word from dock. The second is, if you're gonna step in and shoo a fighter off, the other guy deserves an count. If there's no standing 8, then stay the hell out of the way till someone goes down. Third being the stiffarm/forearm use by Jacobs.

Finally credit goes to Jacobs for doing what he had to do, but strangley my skepticism hasn't budged. Perhaps because it was too quick to evaluate. I don't know.. There's something else there that doesn't feel right...
Yeah it looked a little hasty in real time but the slow mo showed just how lost Peter was. Had that look of being knocked out standing up with his eyes open. Usually guys are on their way down with thats look for example Paul Williams.

I doubt the fight is up yet but if you want to see a real cherry of a ref job, take a gander at Daws/Nieto. The guy should be relegated to potato sack races.
