    I think the top heavyweights are less skilled than they were in the 1990's and 1970's heavyweights

    I just don't see Wlad or Fury (or Wilder, for that matter) having more KO power than a Lennox, a Mike Tyson, or a Vitali. To me the dividing line was between the Ali's, the Fraziers, versus today's HW's.

    Remember the toe-to-toe between Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas? Those guys went all out on offense, trying to knock out the other guy. Same can be said for Vitali-Lennox, Tyson-Holyfied, and numerous others.

    Compare those with any of Wlad's fights, including this latest one versus Fury...... and you can see a humongous difference. Before, HW's fought to knock the other guy out. Nowadays, they fight to survive and not get knocked out. Big difference.
