Yes id like to pose this question , do you think Wlad was in his prime at 29 or 39 ?
Also his previous 3 losses where by ko , strange how he loses his title on points.
What do you think about this chaps ?

I think haye agrees to fight a lot of people and then stuff happens :S... I would think when haye runs out of easy money fights he will definitely take on joshua but I wouldn't expect it to happen any time soon. It would be really interesting and I would like to see it a lot but I am not holding my breath.
its very difficult to say when wlads prime was/is
his fights are geared for him to win, the relaxed rules on the holding for example
for instance - under normal boxing rules, which wlad would have had the best chance of beating provetkin? a 29 year old wlad or a 39 year old wlad
under wlad rules wlad would have beaten provetkin at any point in his career but he was probably at his best at holding at about 36

Dont forget fighting in his fortress of Germany. He gets to have everything his own way, or did until he faced Fury. Spongey, soft canvas, gloves, waiting times, ref allowing holding, leaning etc.
There are also "rumours" that it is legal to take certain substances in Germany. Looks dynamite destroying Pulev then labours over Jennings in America.
What is fact is Tyson fought the very best version that was regarded in the all time top ten and in the most difficult circumstances in Germany and did it more comfortably than anyone else could. Just made it look easy. Dropping his hands and clowning Wlad
I wonder how many of Wlads recent opponents youd have to add together to equal the amount of rounds Tyson took from Wlad?

I'd back the current Povetkin to KO the current Wlad, as long as there was a proper ref that wouldn't allow Wlad to keep getting piggybacks
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
It was only 2 years ago Wlad destroyed him. Povetkin looked better since but Povetkins style is suited to Wlads jab and hold. Id fancy Povetkin to beat Fury but doubt hed beat Wlad.
Just seen the full Joshua fight sober. Very impressed with Joshua tbh. He got caught with a big shot in the 2nd and recovered quickly. Apart from that it was complete dominance. Whyte v Chisora would be a decent scrap to measure if Whyte is actually any use. Joshua v Fury would be a cracker for the end of this year but Id say its more likely a stadium fight in 2017 but they run the risk of Fury losing before then as surely hell have to fight some top opposition. Id still back Joshua at pick em if they were to fight this summer.

You still dnt rate Tyson Fury?
Yes he will be fighting top opposition. The second best heavy in the world. Hes just beaten who was the best heavy in the world.
It makes me laugh how still people are saying Fury will get beaten by the likes of Povetkin etc when hes just proven hes head and shoulders above everyone else.
Its like the Klitschko fight didnt even happen![]()

The ref was a disgrace in the Wlad-Povetkin fight. Mills Lane would have DQ'd Wlad by the 3rd round. In Wlad's next fight he struggled with Jennings because he wasn't allowed to hold and didn't have a clue against Fury.
If Wlad can't grab he's fucked.
It wouldn't be a shock if Povetkin ironed Fury.

See, the thing about Fury is that although he achieved the seemingly to some (me included) impossible by beating Wlad, with hindsight , Wlad was made for him. Hindsight is a wonderful luxury and it doesn't take anything away from Fury's achievement.
However, styles make fights and I think although Fury has decent skill and uses his reach well, the majority of people believe that other fighters apart from Wlad will show a lot more ambition and will not worry about taking shots in order to get in distance to fire their own.
I think most HW's are prepared to do this because they THINK Fury is not a heavy puncher and that he is also susceptible to being floored. Time will tell, but for Fury , it's only the start of the journey. If he continues where he left off with Wlad, he'll soon start to bring round the sceptics like me. Personally, I think he could beat Wlad in a rematch, he could probably beat Wilder, but my personal opinion is that, Joshua, Povetkin, Pulev perhaps, and possibly others could beat Fury.Time will tell.
Styles make fights Ross. I do rate Fury. As I said earlier in the year I had backed him to win a world title. I think guys like Povetkin and Ortiz would be a nightmare for Fury imo.
I dont see how my views here differ from how you were saying Eubank would beat Saunders when Saunders had faced and beaten far better opposition then Eubank had?
