    Opinions versus fact.

Opinions are like assholes everyones got one.

Fact is, Fury is the only fighter that is universally recognised as the best in his division and beat the best to get there.

Yeah it's about opinions. The question asked - who is the best and worst? We can't prove Fury is a better fighter than Lee Haskins, just that on paper he beat a more famous champion.

Fury is THE man in his division, it doesn't mean he's unbeatable or even the best fighter.

Brook, DeGale, Frampton, Quigg and Selby all operate in far, far tougher divisons than the heavyweight one.

In his division he is the best fighter!! He beat and unbeatable top ten all time great in his home town easy. Tyson is easily the best fighter in Britain hard to swallow as it is for you!

Do any of the others really stand a chance at beating the best in their divisions?

The fighters you mentioned may fight in more competative divisions but have they beaten the best n their division? Are they capable of it? De Gale was lucky to get past Bute! Does Brook really stand a chance against Pacquiao? Frampton amd Quigg would beat Rigo

I can't stand DeGale, but he's more than capable of beating Badou Jack, who else is there that he wouldn't be favoured against? And why can't Brook beat Pacquiao? He might lose to Thurman, Bradley or Spence, but he could beat Pac.

    Exactly.

Bute/Dirrell are superior boxers to Wlad. Quigg and Frampton are in a division with Rigo and Donaire. Superior boxers to Wlad. Brook doesn't just have Pac but also Bradley, Thurman, Porter, Khan, Spence etc, all superior boxers to Wlad. Lee Selby has Loma, Russell jr, Santa Cruz etc.

Most of these guys are in or around the P4P top ten. Neither Fury or any other heavyweight is. (check The RING mag)

Tyson is the best fighter in the UK in your OPINION not mine. Tyson isn't even the best heavyweight in my opinion.

That was my thoughts when Ring made Fury fighter of the year!

I thought we are talking boxing and craft with a set of good fights here, not simply a position gained on one average skilled fight surely?

Fighter of the year ffs! There are minimum weight guys who have a zillion times the skills in the craft of boxing and have been through some top battles to get where they do and here we have a ONCE respected entity Ring not going with real boxing fans but instead siding with with the general publics fan base views that the heavier weights from welter up are the only ones deserving of any respect.

In the past 20 years,Rings fighter of the year hasnt been picked from below welter, fucking ridiculous when the likes of ElFinto ruled and he could be seen as in top 3 greatest of all time fighters.

    = Bull shit.
