Anyone able to find footage of this De Mori bloke getting chinned? It was ten years ago but it would be of more use than watching him beat up some bin men.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

To pretty much sell out the O2 arena single handidly with zero promotion and a shit undercard is fucking impressive.... add to that its 2 weeks after Xmas and NYE when people are skint and its very very fucking impressive.
One thing Haye has always been is brilliant at marketing himself.
If he delivers by KO then he will get a title shot within 12 months, id bet my house on that
The big question is can he still bang after the shoulder op?
If he has a nice juicy scar round the shoulder then maybe Ross will shut the fuck up hahaha
I think its great he's come back as i've not seen lively discussions on the Heavyweight division on here for years

Never bet the house on a fight. There are great examples every year but just remember Ali vs Foreman.
Ross will never shut up, if he's not talking he's asleep, even then he's probably dreaming about what he's going to say!

I was actually thinking this morning would be interesting to see if theres any scar. Going by all the vain twats pictures and videos on his twitter there arent any.

Maybe the makeup artist will have to add the scar for weighins and fights

I wonder if the fight will contractually have to finish either on the hour or on the half hour to ensure that the 'witty banter' on the channel isn't overly disrupted.

I've spat more interesting bits of kebab out on the floor compared to that undercard, really don't get how he's sold out the O2. Unless he's been giving them away to disadvantaged children and their families.

I never knew how Froch v Groves sold 80,000 tickets and what the fuss was all about. Benn v Eubank was bigger and Ricky Hatton never got that crowd.

The power of social media, the extra exposure over the internet.

Imagine Benn and Eubank nowadays bitching over twitter for millions to see live! They would eat it up!

I'm with you don't get how Haye has sold out the O2 - maybe his I'm a celebrity fame.

The non-boxing fan won't hold grudge or see him for what he really is like we do - but I do admit if he's still 90% of what he was he'll be top 5 come a week Sunday.

And ye how the hell did Froch - Groves sell 80k tickets !!! I didn't even know they sold that many, it's a good job Carl Froch has mentioned that on occasion or I'd never know
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

Will they ignore the rest of the card and just show the main event which may only last a minute?

This is why no one else wanted to buy it.

Dave may even pull out now.

Well, there's only one Dave in this contract with a history of pulling out of fights.... Then again, I can't imagine they've really had to put too much cash up to get the fight either.

It was huge. Not as huge as when Hatton fought Floyd though IMO. Ricky took almost 30,000 fans to Vegas with him and apparently only around 4000 actually got into the event. That's a hell of a lot of people watching on big screens when they could have stayed at home and paid £15. Ricky Hatton was a huge draw here, it's a shame Khan didn't come along a little sooner, they would have filled Wembley.
