Sobriety is a great but funny thing. You experience everything from massive amounts of 'new' energy, you save tons of money, find concentration and sometimes spirituality or love, you can even taste you food again! You actually clean the house...sometimes in the A.M and the P.M ...and admit the people you screwed over and try to make amends. Sometimes I've heard you even feel bullet proof and have rushes of clear euphoria. Alvarado is right where he needs to be doing what he needs to do. Balanced and truthful and most importantly happy by the sounds of it. I'd hate to see him slog back onto the brutal rollercoaster in the ring. His style and his passion combined for a fiery rise and harder than hell fall and the same cycles that nearly killed him would be very very close all over again. He's kicked heroin, coke or whatever else was strangling his soul and is nearing a year sober. His biggest victory has been secured and I hope he rides off and reaps the bigger rewards.
