Watched him doing a promo for this and wow. Some make shift garage gym surrounded by banners for "Larrys plumbing" .The thing is he's been fighting guys out of the audience in between KO's he has suffered for the last 4 years honestly. Former pro wrestlers on the card FFS

Who's 100k is this? Surely not his. Is this what his 'backers' aka financiers in Russia had in mind for him. What next, he boxes a gloved bear in Moscow?

Eventually you have to separate the guy you knew from the imposter they become and with Roy its to the point of pathetic. Seriously thinking the guy is permanently damaged.

Looks to be this guy Vyron Phillips. Admittedly not the pizza scarfing couch potato I thought he'd be looking for. Dude was 6-1 amateur boxing and currently fighting mma.

Surprise surprise Roy won. The geezer that got chinned said - "I'd like to see Roy go away from this,'' he said on URShow.tv exhibition. "Maybe, coach. I don't want to see him get hurt.''

That just about sums it up - get chinned, call for your opponent to retire.

It took just over a round for 47-year-old Roy Jones Jr. to finish Vyron Phillips on Sunday night in Phoenix, Arizona. The aging legend scored a decisive second-round KO.

Before the unaware Jones fan gets too excited about their idol's victory, it's important you know Phillips is a fan who won a contest and was rewarded with an opportunity to fight the former pound-for-pound champion.

Had Phillips found a way to win, he would have won $100,000.

The bout was the main event of a quadruple header of combat sports entertainment put on by UR Shows TV. Fans in attendance and those who purchased the pay-per-view also saw former UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen take on current UFC 185-pounder Michael Bisping in a grappling-only match that ended in a draw.

In an MMA bout, Shannon Ritch scored a submission win over Mavrick Harvey and Rey Mysterio defeated Kurt Angle in a pro wrestling bout.

Phillips is a 33-year-old mixed martial artist who had never previously competed as a boxer. That was immediately apparent as he appeared to be stiff and far too slow—even for an old and withered Jones.

In the first round, Jones took his time. He only chose to fire shots to keep his distance against Phillips. In the closing seconds of the round, a straight right hand knocked Phillips back into the ropes. He looked dazed, but the end of the round saved him from further damage.

In the second round, Jones put an end to matters with a counter right hand that sent Phillips to the canvas. He got to his feet, but he was too badly hurt to continue. The referee stopped the fight and Jones was the victor.

While this victory won't go on Jones' record, he has to be more pleased with the outcome of this fight when compared to his last outing. In December of 2015, Jones was brutally knocked out by Enzo Maccarinelli in the fourth round in Moscow, Russia.

When the fight was over, Jones acknowledged he's at the end of his boxing career, but he didn't commit to an end date. As a matter of fact, per the UR Shows broadcast, Jones said he may even appear on a future card from the streaming network.

Truth be told, Jones probably should have stopped fighting a long time ago. He's already taken some unnecessary beatings late in his career.

If he does choose to continue his career, he'd be better off fighting in low-risk exhibitions like this match with Phillips. If Jones is put back into the ring against a legitimate boxer, he won't have much of a chance to win.
