Wipe those tears batman, im not belittling anyone just pointing out the obvious that yeah, many sofa sports fans and keyboard warriors may think the fight was quite right to be left to carry on but the opinion of every person interviewed ringside (bar his own team and the ref), mostly people who had had an involvement in the sport was that it should have been stopped earlier.

    Who was right batman?

Your welcome to an opinion as everyone is just be prepared for it to be wrong.

You may well like to have opinions on football but the object of that game is not to punch the opponent in the head and render them unconscious. Some times its best to listen to the professionals opinions.

You have no idea about all the other posters and what their involvement in boxing is. Just because you assume something does not make it so. There are many here involved in boxing at all levels and connected in many ways that you have no idea of. So your opinion is just that, an opinion, no more or less worthy than that of anyone else. Who are these professionals opinions we should be listening to ? Just those supporting your argument ? Surely you don't class yourself as a pro ? Should we listen to JR who wishes that Blackwell makes "a quick recovery and a speedy return 2 the ring" . What a stupid thing to say.

Lets hope Blackwell gets through this relatively unscathed and with his faculties and abilities in tact, but his time in the ring has gone. He is obviously a brave fighter and that will stand him in good stead in the days, months and years ahead.

The question about who has boxed has been asked on here before and very few have. The ones arguing with me havent. They are entitled to an opinion but the opinion that the fight was fine to let carry on to the stage it did is obviously wrong! Some think its fine to see a fighters head get jolted over and ober with no hope of winning.

My son has boxed from a early age I have trained him and spared with him, I have been hit to the head
a few time causing my leg's to do the hoke e coke e, he's a big lad and can punch I was hit relativity light.
and he was playing with me.
Eubank and Blackwell were not taking it easy on each other, they were trying to hurt each out and that
is boxing lads it's a hurt game this sport is extremely hard and unforgiving.
When we want blood sometimes a price has to be paid it can be a high price, Nick Blackwell paid a high
price lads, but remember nobody forced them to fight they fight of there own free will, boxing will never
    be totally safe lads.!
Sad facts being punched to the head is not good for you, lets just wish Nick makes a swift recovery.
