good win for joshua and in style too, this really helps him a lot, I think his team made a great move making this fight happen in blighty(I do hope martin was paid well)... Looking at the reaction on this forum and the bbc site it looks like Joshua is pretty much a superstar now I think people buy into him more than fury and fury is the legit champ :S. he will be able to have great leverage in all negotiaions, hats off to him.

Mate. It's 'Tyson who?' over here. It's sad but it's boxings fault.

Haye should wipe out Wilder. And he would.

Actually David Haye wouldn't be booed. They underestimate Dave's weird popularity with casual boxing fans.

Joshua seems like a good kid. Would love to see more of him. All I can say is that he looked real good tonight.

Joshua said he would show levels, it took less than 6 minutes for Charles Martin to realise his level is somewhere south of Anthony Joshua's.

Lovely timing from Joshua, those fast counter right hands will be too good for most fighters. Job well done. You've got to hand it to Martin. He's won and lost a heavyweight title, made a fuck load of money and no one knows if he can actually fight. My guess is he drifts away into obscurity now.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Very true... I was Shocked at how static AJ's head is too...no movement at all and zero footwork....
Mad thing is when i say we learned Nothing new about AJ he's got a title and we've yet to see him in with an Athletic puncher....Wilder, Haye .... He's more or less untested still at elite level but has a title

What did we learn tonight Martin was poor yes he was defending his title, but he should have been better should he not,!
This was just one more learning fight for AJ , more or less you can only beat who is in front of you, Martin was in truth bloody hopeless a really let down, he did not land a worthwhile punch.
I like AJ but he still needs more learning fights, and with any luck turn out to a good Champion he hit's you it's goodnight well done AJ upwards and onwards.

Haye said AJ will probably fight twice this year as will David and then they will meet next year.

Fury is too good for AJ just yet.

I don't buy that at all. Besides the Klitschko win, which had as much to do with Wlad not knowing what to do with a guy who was similarly sized as it did to do with Tyson's ability, Fury hasn't done anything to suggest he is any better than AJ. AJ has a big advantage in almost all categories barring experience. Fury befuddled Klitschko because Wlad is scared of getting hit and Wlad couldn't deal with the possibility of someone beating him to the punch. He's too risk cautious to let his hands go in that scenario. AJ certainly wouldn't be worried by that knowing his power is far greater than Tyson's. If Steve Cunningham can land and put him down, AJ sends him on a sleeping holiday.

Fury will mess with AJ's mind before their fight and if Joshua has not gone the distance in the time they meet then Antony will be in deep trouble. Joshua can hit but has he got the stamina and Fury will box his ears off until later in the fight. Easy work for Tyson Fury.
