In team sports, you do 1/10th of what Broner habitually does and you get kicked off the team, the league, and you lose your livelihood. Granted, not all players in team sports are role models... but they know they have to comport themselves with some degree of humanity, lest they find themselves pushing a broom or behind bars. Too bad the same doesn't apply to sports like boxing, all the reasons be damned. Maybe when we start expecting athletes who make truckloads of money to behave slightly better than wild animals... just maybe we'll start seeing some new fans in boxing. Who knows how many would-be fans are turned off at the sight of Broner's face on yet another police lineup.
