I think Cotto should win this against JMM as he still has more in the tank. Both are at the end of their careers taking on big fights with a good bit of rivalry. It is an interesting fight.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I'm a huge JMM fan but with his mobility hampered by knee issues (is this getting to be a theme for cotto opponents) and I don't believe Cotto will make 147 and probably outweigh Marquez by 10+ lbs on fight night. I think even the "Hulk" version of Marquez hurts Cotto at that weight. So as in so many other fights where Marquez erased his early knockdowns by fighting skillfully afterwards, I think the opposite will be true this time. Marquez can box beautifully, put his punches together, getting dropped by a bigger Cotto with better knees/mobility (especially when bradley already drafter up a blue print that didnt involve, pacquiaos in and out footwork or mayweathers speed) every 2 rounds will bury him on the scorecards if it goes that far.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

It is an interesting fight, although kind of iffy at the same time. Could Cotto even make 147, is Marquez significantly more shot than he has been, etc. I'd pick Cotto and reckon he's to big at this point, but Marquez is very live if he's still the counter puncher he was.
I agree with all the above. LOL!
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
@Master you asked for a link. I just saw this online on a facebook boxing group yesterday formed asa question and then saw this up the top on the list when Googling it, but I cant see a date to it. Maybe from Feb this year when there was word. Cotto maybe moving onto something else
Juan Manuel Marquez announces he will face Miguel Cotto at 147lbs this year in what will be an incredible rivalry involving Mexico verses Puerto Rico. As both agree to preparation fights first, training camps have started #Boxing Miguel Cotto vs. Jua
So my apologies, but then theres this... Which brings up some interesting thought too if facing Ruslan Provodnikov as a tune up wonder who Marquez would pick to see if he still has it? Kahn Id like to see him and Kahn if Juans knee is fine and he has his old footwork back.
