Just for that, I have just lit a gigantic carbon producing bonfire, and I have put ALL my recycling in the landfill bin.

When the atmosphere has a greater amount of carbon, and less oxygen, all the larger land animals die off. Large land creatures like homo sapiens need lots of oxygen to stay alive, that's why we will suffocate and die if we don't breathe for a few minutes.

And if there is too much oxygen in the atmosphere that ain't good either. Premature babies used to go blind because they were given too much oxygen.
