It's odd that anybody with any black heritage is classed as 'black' (in the US?).

Barack Obama is half black African and half white, but he is the 'first black president'.

It's weird. I'm not sure if it is a compliment as black genes tend to be dominant, or an insult like being contaminated with something

Yes and before that 100% white Bill Clinton was "the first black president".....gives you a bit of pause about how altruistic the Democrats actually are when it comes to race relations no?
